Magistra Clevenger holds a B.F.A. in Dance, with a specialization in choreography, as well as a B.A. in Psychology from Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona, graduating Magna Cum Laude. During her time in Arizona, she taught various dance disciplines over 11 years in local studios, arts centers, and in public schools. She also performed extensively with her ballet studio and in the university setting at ASU. She grew up with a love of studying choir and music in all her education and for the past five years was a member of Christ the Savior Orthodox Church’s choir in Chicago, Illinois. Professionally, she practices as a physical therapist, after obtaining her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2018. Magistra Clevenger specializes in outpatient orthopedic therapy and for two years was the PT to the Joffrey Ballet Academy, the pre-professional track to the Joffrey Ballet. She is excited to be instructing at HSCA as music teacher for kindergarten through fourth grade.
