Magistra James has taught in the elementary grades at the Academy since 2015 and is currently teaching first grade phonics and math. Her most rewarding experience at Hagia Sophia was teaching kindergarten – hearing the students read a simple word and sentence after learning it. She relished times when they shared their love for God and others. Magistra James is thankful that HSCA provides a great opportunity to be a part of the students’ academic and spiritual development. In her spare time, Magistra James loves doing crafts and teaching children’s Sunday School. She enjoys making special flower arrangements for church feast days.
