Magistra Carrasco graduated from North Central High School in 1987, and has a B.A. from Indiana University in English Literature and a Master’s degree in Library Science. She os fluent in Spanish as a speaker and a reader, and has an affinity for languages, having studied and explored different phonetic and writing systems as Arabic, Mandarin and Nahuatl. She has been involved in the Academy since 2017 and is currently the instructor for K-2 Christian Studies and music at Hagia Sophia. Her goal is to impart in her students a love for musical communication as well as a foundation in prayer and scriptural knowledge.
